Use a simple crochet stitch to make this fun and elegant necklace. It is made with fine wire, beads and a crochet hook and is so easy you'll be inspired to make it in all colors.

Supplies: Craft Wire, 26 gauge, size J or K crochet hook, mixture of beads (4, 6, 8mm sizes), size 6 or 8 seed beads, top-drilled or tear drop shaped beads. Bead Artist has a nice selection of Czech glass beads in strands with various color combinations which are ideal for this project. You will need at least two strands of each size.

This is a technique that started around 850 AD. Vikings learned this knitting process to make armour. You can use the same technique to make beautiful wire jewelry. In this class you will make a wire bracelet and from this you can go on to make beautiful necklaces and earrings. Have fun!
